Job Description
Ashby is hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive for the UKI region. Ashby sells recruiting software, and the posting says more than 5,000 companies use it, including well-known technology and AI firms. The role targets mid-market companies with 100 to 1,000 employees and focuses on acquiring new logos. The account executive runs the whole sales process, from building pipeline through closed-won, and the posting says Ashby's EMEA customer base has grown beyond 1,000 companies.
This is a hunting role. The account executive must source more than half of their own pipeline through research, outbound effort and personalized outreach. Day-to-day work includes running quick demos that show how the product solves a particular problem, navigating competitive evaluations, including rip-and-replace deals for core platform technologies, and bringing the right stakeholders together on a shared decision. The person keeps many opportunities moving at once with accurate, real-time CRM updates, and spends at least a quarter of working time traveling for customer visits and events.
Candidates need at least two years of end-to-end closing experience, including many deals above $50,000 in annual contract value, and experience selling complex platform technology in a sales-led motion. The posting asks for experience selling across several EMEA regions and for strong written and verbal English. Selling to talent or HR audiences and prior business or sales development experience are bonus points. The posting does not give a base pay range. Benefits include unlimited PTO (four weeks a year suggested), a ten-year stock option exercise window, an education budget of 100 pounds or euros per month, and extended health coverage.
