Job Description
Mozilla is seeking a Mobile Marketing Operations Manager, a remote job in its Firefox Product Marketing group. The person keeps Firefox Mobile marketing running smoothly, converting product marketing and growth strategy into dependable routines covering app store optimisation, lifecycle messaging, launches and other growth efforts. The group works with product, marketing, design-creative and other partner teams to improve acquisition, activation, engagement and user retention.
App store work, from changing listing metadata to running creative tests and organising store events, is coordinated with Product Marketing and an outside agency. Approved lifecycle briefs are converted into workable plans, and the manager helps carry out key touchpoints along the user journey. Launches and other priority initiatives are organised, including handoffs between teams and day-to-day follow-through. The role also owns shared localisation, quality checks and operational-readiness processes, raising blockers and risks early.
Results from campaigns and experiments are gathered and consolidated into reports and lessons that shape later choices. The manager builds processes, automation and AI-assisted routines, including tools built with Claude Code and Cowork, to lighten coordination work and keep execution consistent. Documenting these workflows is part of the job.
Candidates need five or more years in marketing operations or closely related work, hands-on app store optimisation and mobile promotion background, and a history of running multi-step programmes with several workstreams, stakeholders and deadlines. Good operational judgement, organisation, attention to detail and the ability to set priorities independently are essential. Creating repeatable processes and documentation is expected. Helpful extras include growth work in mobile apps or ASO on listing metadata and creative tests, plus measurement and reporting skills and automation experience with Claude Code, Cowork or comparable products. Values emphasised include playing to win and building for people first. US hiring ranges are $102,000 to $136,300 in Tier 1 locations, $94,000 to $125,000 in Tier 2 and $87,000 to $99,000 in Tier 3.
