The organization is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect for the US Public Sector to multiply its technical reach by working with a designated portfolio of partners, including systems integrators, resellers, managed security service providers, and cloud providers. Rather than closing individual sales one by one, this role builds technical capabilities within partner networks so they can independently source pipelines, close agreements, and implement Elastic solutions. Candidates should expect travel of up to 30 percent and must be located in the Washington DC Metro area.
Key pillars for this position include driving partner-sourced pipelines, multiplying technical capacity, and co-building repeatable solutions. Success is measured through partner-sourced deals, committed engagement plans, and published assets rather than raw activity volume. Compensation consists of a base salary combined with a target variable component to form On-Target Earnings, along with eligibility for stock programs and additional employee benefits.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Partner Managers to generate approved partner deal registrations within the assigned territory
- Run partner-tailored sales playbooks on registered deals to qualify shapes, support intake, and lift average deal sizes
- Accelerate partner-led opportunities, hands-on labs, and proofs of concept alongside account teams
- Maintain technical relationships and establish trusted advisor status with senior technical stakeholders at each partner
- Create and maintain a Technical Engagement Plan per focus partner and conduct quarterly read-outs
- Deliver enablement, accreditation, and certification roadmaps that advance partner technical maturity
- Lead hands-on technical workshops across Elastic products to increase partner confidence and solution fluency
- Co-architect solution blueprints, reference architectures, and reusable demos with partners and hyperscalers
- Author customer-facing material such as white papers, blogs, and sales collateral
- Support technical deployments of Elastic within partner labs, demonstration environments, and testing grounds
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, or cloud and infrastructure technologies
- At least 1 year of pre-sales experience in the software sector, specifically within partner-facing channel, alliances, systems integrator, or managed service provider ecosystems in the US Public Sector
- Working knowledge of security operations like SIEM, endpoint, and cloud security or observability, alongside an understanding of AI and semantic search technologies
- Professional experience operating or architecting solutions on Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS
- Ability to travel approximately 30 percent of the time for partner offices, events, and conferences
- Location within the Washington DC Metro area
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Technical experience in at least one Elastic solution area, such as AI agents and search, security operations, or observability
- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, including LLMs, embeddings, vector search, or agentic AI frameworks
- Proficiency in a scripting or programming language like Python or Bash for automation and demonstration purposes
- Prior experience in technical training, instruction, or curriculum development
