Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee long-term technical architecture and make build versus buy choices for platform scaling
- Design and create core infrastructure services and microservices supporting platform, frontend, and machine learning groups
- Align system reliability, engineering speed, and infrastructure expenses with overarching business objectives
- Write maintainable, high-performance production code across the stack using tools like Python, Golang, Postgres, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering groups to execute critical business deliverables
- Guide senior engineers, promote engineering standards, and encourage rapid innovation

Requirements
- Possess fifteen or more years of software engineering background
- Demonstrate career progression into a Principal or Senior Staff Engineer capacity within a high-growth technology enterprise or advanced AI lab
- Show hands-on coding expertise paired with deep design thinking for code and system architecture decisions
- Bring practical familiarity with distributed systems concepts covering scalability, performance, latency, monitoring, and optimization
- Connect engineering choices to commercial metrics such as margin efficiency, latency reductions, and feature launch speed
- Utilize AI tooling, automated workflows, or AI-driven insights within professional processes
