Job Description
Canva is hiring a Print Lead for EMEA, based in London. The role is an operations leadership post inside Canva Print, a business that has become its own supergroup and is building a print marketplace where people can go from design to finished product within minutes. The lead is answerable for how Print performs across EMEA, including regional revenue goals.
The work includes converting regional revenue goals into a workable plan and delivering it, spotting the largest openings across markets, product lines, partners and customer experience, and steering launches of products, partners and markets from start to finish. The lead manages production partners so they keep quality, delivery reliability, unit economics and customer experience at a high level. Data and customer signals are used to catch problems early and continually improve the regional business.
The lead also represents EMEA Print to colleagues in Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal and Customer Happiness. Candidates should bring substantial experience in print, manufacturing, online retail, supply chains, marketplaces or other operations run through several partners, a record of owning regional commercial results, and a history of launching products or suppliers across multiple countries. Background in European print, bespoke products, ecommerce or spread-out manufacturing would be a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Be accountable for Canva Print's results in EMEA, including regional revenue targets
- Find the richest openings in each market, product line, supplier relationship and customer touchpoint
- Head launches of products, partners and markets from first idea to execution
- Build trusted partner relationships so production partners deliver quality, fulfilment and better economics
- Use data and customer insight to track results and fix issues early
- Simplify and scale how launches and daily operations run
- Speak for EMEA Print across the company's teams
Requirements
- Substantial background in print, manufacturing, online retail, supply chain, marketplaces or other multi-partner operations
- Record of delivering on territory results, measured in revenue, margin, customer experience or operating performance
- Experience rolling out new offerings, territories, suppliers or partner capabilities in several nations
- Business judgement linking operational choices to growth, economics and customer results
- Practical experience steering outside partners with explicit benchmarks, metrics and ownership
- Comfort with ambiguity, building structure from scratch and rolling up sleeves when needed
- Ability to sway senior stakeholders without formal authority
