Job Description
Tide is recruiting a Product Design Lead to direct design across Payment Services, which gives members the means to receive, send and keep funds at home and overseas. The position is remote-first. Designers sit inside mission teams called speedboats, which bring several disciplines together to deliver ongoing value.
The lead partners with product managers, technical owners and domain leaders to set strategy and goals, rank roadmap opportunities, decide success measures, and deliver value in small increments. The role reduces risk through research, keeps delivery aligned with the product vision alongside engineers, watches customer impact and changes course when required, and promotes design thinking across Tide. The lead mentors a dispersed group of product designers, supports their growth, and fosters continual improvement.

Expertise in design thinking and methods, skill running design reviews in Figma, user testing know-how and comfort with ambiguity are required.
