Job Description
This product marketing manager role is responsible for the Freshservice platform story at Freshworks. The manager frames service management and operations work as one combined offering for IT teams, handles positioning, messaging and major product launches, and produces material that explains why the joined-up platform solves real IT problems rather than relabeling existing features.
The job connects with product managers, engineers, sellers, success teams and demand marketers to shape customer understanding and adoption. It involves coordinating launch work across product, marketing, sales, success, enablement and public relations, and building sales tools such as slide decks, competitor cards, FAQs, demonstrations and talking points. The manager also produces web pages, articles, video, webinars and campaigns, and collects customer perspectives through interviews, research and rival analysis.
Applicants should have at least five years in B2B software product marketing and experience promoting ITSM, IT operations, DevOps, monitoring, cloud, security or infrastructure products. Prior work launching multi-product platforms that include AI or other smart features is expected, along with readiness to weave AI into marketing processes. The job is hybrid, based out of the Downtown Boston office, with three days on site from Tuesday through Thursday. Base salary runs $150,000 to $180,000, and a target bonus is possible.
