AlphaSense is seeking a Project Manager for its Energy & Industrials Directed Content team to guide research scope, define project angles, and oversee analyst productivity. AlphaSense operates an AI-driven market intelligence platform relied upon by thousands of enterprise clients, providing access to extensive public and private document libraries as well as expert interview transcripts. In this full-time role, the Project Manager serves as a central operational link within the Directed Content group, aligning client research interests with targeted expert profiles.
This position involves setting up research initiatives, managing pod workflows, coaching analysts, and evaluating expert profiles for relevance and quality. The ideal candidate brings a client-focused mindset, strong organizational skills, and a foundational grasp of relevant industry verticals. Reporting directly to the Sector Lead of Directed Content, the professional in this role collaborates closely with research directors, contributors, and team analysts to drive project execution and deliver valuable insights.
Responsibilities
- Formulate research projects based on platform demand and Sector Lead instructions
- Establish project angles and questions for vetting experts utilizing sector knowledge
- Examine and quality-assure expert profiles sourced by analysts
- Lead pod meetings to review project progress against weekly and monthly goals
- Oversee scheduling, pricing, compliance, and call volumes for each project
- Distribute projects among analysts based on current workload capacity
- Coach analysts by delivering constructive feedback and guidance
- Meet regularly with research directors and client contributors to track emerging interests
- Assist with onboarding and hiring new analysts
