Job Description
This full-time, on-site sales post takes charge of winning and servicing single-location independent restaurants in an assigned city for Swiggy. The posting does not name the city. The work is advisory and out in the field: the manager learns how each restaurant operates, understands its problems, and helps the owner grow orders, visibility and guest engagement.
Each day involves looking after a set territory, visiting outlets in person to demonstrate the product and talk through return-on-investment figures, and working out what a restaurant needs by asking about its sales channels, delivery arrangements, marketing budget and goals. Every month the manager moves each partner through pitching, negotiating, going live and continuing support, tracks uptake and conversion, fixes restaurants that stall, and feeds field intelligence to the product team.
The role carries revenue targets for the territory and expects 80 to 90 face-to-face partner meetings a month. The ideal candidate has zero to two years in B2B, field sales or business development, ideally from fast-moving goods, food and beverage or hospitality firms, and a history of hitting targets. Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills are essential. Flexibility is also necessary, because restaurant trade never stops.

- Hold a defined territory and nurture relationships with assigned outlets
- Make face-to-face calls that include product demos and return analysis
- Work out restaurant needs and present Swiggy's offerings as solutions
- Guide each partner through a monthly cycle of pitching, deal-making, launch and support
- Follow adoption figures, fix problems and change course when needed
- Hit territory revenue goals and keep an eye on the pipeline and conversion rates
- Track restaurant trends, rivals and local conditions
Requirements
- 0 to 2 years in B2B, field sales or business development
- Record of hitting or beating targets while running a personal pipeline
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Capacity for 80 to 90 face-to-face partner meetings a month
- Willingness to work around restaurant trading hours
Qualifications
- Experience in FMCG, food and beverage or hotel businesses
- Ability to build pivot tables, lookups and dashboards without help
- Postgraduate degree, preferably in marketing or sales
