CombiTel is seeking a Sales Representative to join the team on a full-time, remote basis. This position involves selling custom digital signage systems, bespoke IPTV solutions, software, and commercial user hardware such as media players and digital displays to a pre-established blue-chip customer base worldwide.
The employer has operated for over thirty years in applied technologies, telecommunications, and broadcasting, creating systems utilized in locations such as hospitals, military bases, mining camps, and aged care facilities. Through its member group Omniscreen, the company develops proprietary software applications like Omniscreen Pilot.
This role suits professionals capable of conducting international and domestic travel. The position requires frequent visits to the company's head office located in Melbourne, alongside regular travel to Europe, North America, and the broader APAC region.
Responsibilities
- Sell CombiTel Group services and products globally according to a strategic plan
- Organize and execute sales outreach via telephone, email, and in-person meetings
- Design and execute product demonstrations at client locations and industry trade shows
- Pursue new leads and respond to marketing initiatives
- Track activities using the company customer relationship management system
- Collaborate with colleagues to formulate tender responses
- Develop and present marketing and sales materials
- Execute social media and online advertising campaigns
- Take part in promotional events both domestically and internationally
- Complete formal training programs and ongoing self-directed study regarding industry technologies
Requirements
- Hold a valid driver license
- Possess the legal right to work and reside in Australia
- Demonstrate the ability to secure and retain appropriate visas for international travel across North America, Europe, and the APAC region
- Submit both a resume detailing employment background and a cover letter responding to the job criteria
Qualifications
- Completion of a TAFE qualification or a Bachelor degree focused on IT, AV, engineering, or a related discipline
