Job Description
This full-time Senior Account Manager role is on-site at InMobi's New York office and belongs to the Direct and Programmatic Demand team. The manager sits in a revenue pod with a dedicated sales manager and reports to the VP of Ad Sales. The job serves agencies and advertisers across the Americas and acts as the main contact for each account once a deal is signed.
Duties begin with bringing new advertiser customers into InMobi and Glance ad platforms. The manager owns delivery and KPI results for each deal the pod sells, coordinating research, creative, attribution, ad operations and other specialist groups. After launch, the manager oversees account health, quarterly retention and growth plans, revenue and margin, and campaign analysis, and gives advice in weekly or biweekly check-ins and quarterly business reviews.
Growth is a major part of the role. The manager owns upsell and cross-sell targets for managed accounts, logs that activity in Salesforce, and shares long-term account strategy with the sales manager. Problems such as pacing issues, unresolved service complaints or client-side personnel changes are raised early. The manager works with technical account management, product, ad operations, creative, insights and partner teams, and speaks directly with DSPs, DMPs and measurement vendors when campaigns need fixing.
The posting asks for at least eight years in client success or account management, including at least four in digital or programmatic advertising, and a record of growing retention and revenue inside existing accounts. Practical work with The Trade Desk, DV360 or Amazon DSP would help a candidate stand out. Strong analytics, Salesforce, Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to juggle several clients and changing priorities are expected. Some travel may be needed, along with a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
