Job Description
Within Tide, the Funding Options team, which joined the group in early 2023 to run partner credit services, helps UK small firms secure the right finance. This London Senior Commercial Finance Broker sits in the Sales team and works out what each business owner really needs, then pairs that need with the best product and lender. Tide describes its core business as providing current accounts to sole traders and small firms, and Funding Options works with a panel of 100 lenders.
The broker guides small business clients through the application, builds relationships with commercial lenders, and explains available finance across several product classes. Outbound calls from the CRM, feedback to the Lead Generation team, and upkeep of Salesforce records are part of the routine. The role also involves monitoring trends, competitors and the marketplace, and sharing wins with the wider company.
Commercial finance knowledge or a client-facing sales background is needed, and 360-degree selling or outbound prospecting experience counts in your favour. Candidates should have a history of meeting or beating revenue objectives, communicate well, and stay organised under pressure. The role is full-time and on-site.
