Job Description
This senior director role heads the People Analytics group at Freshworks and sets up its company-wide workforce planning function. The leader defines how the group is structured, what it owns and how it is governed, and produces workforce findings that inform business choices, how effectively the organization runs and how staffing is planned over the long term. The role also drives the use of AI across HR so it matches the company's broader approach to AI.
Day to day, the leader moves the group beyond reporting on what has happened toward forecasting and AI-supported decision support. Work includes building executive dashboards and enterprise-wide workforce measures, setting reporting standards so numbers are consistent, and developing planning methods, capacity models and scenario tools together with finance and corporate strategy colleagues. The leader forms and mentors a team of analysts and planners and offers counsel to HR and business executives about staffing strategy and organizational health.
Candidates should have at least 15 years of progressive work in people analytics, workforce planning or business analytics, including substantial people management, and a history of building enterprise-level capabilities. Experience at a fast-growing SaaS or technology firm is expected, along with working knowledge of Workday and tools such as Visier, Tableau or Power BI. Leading AI-driven HR change is a plus. The job is hybrid, based in San Mateo, California, with three in-office days (Tuesday through Thursday). Annual base pay falls between $250,750 and $309,750 USD.
