Job Description

Tide's Financial Reporting and Control unit compiles the group's core financial statements and operates the controls that keep its numbers reliable. The role also helps launch new lending and investment products, examines collections recovery results, and works with FP&A on credit portfolio budgets and projections. The controller sits on the Credit Risk Working Group as well as the Risk and Compliance Committee, representing finance, and manages relationships with external auditors and tax and accounting advisers.

Candidates should have financial services experience, preferably in technology-led or fast-growing businesses, with credit products and provisioning know-how seen as essential. A recognised finance qualification, strong technical accounting grounded in UK GAAP and/or IFRS, and experience on a statutory audit of a financial firm are sought.
