Job Description
This senior manager post creates and heads the Commercial Enablement function covering 37 EMEA markets, sitting within the EMEA Merchant organisation. The listing places it in London, on-site. The leader directs a cross-disciplinary unit combining commercial learning and development, analytics and commercial incentives, which equips the people who sell to, manage and support merchants to work consistently and produce strong results.
This is a practical leadership role for a seasoned operator who can turn commercial strategy into systems that scale. Results are judged by frontline productivity, training impact and incentive outcomes. The successful candidate builds strong teams and keeps momentum when the picture is unclear.
Learning responsibilities include shaping programmes for new-hire induction, career-stage learning tracks, manager development and focused skills work linked to commercial goals. The manager works with commercial leaders and with the central People, HR and learning teams to keep content practical, measurable and in step with the company's wider training plan.
On incentives, the manager designs, launches and runs schemes that reward frontline conduct aligned with account selection, growth, quality, profit and merchant results. The remit covers governance and documentation, controls, dispute handling, measurement and timely payouts. On analytics, the manager supplies reliable dashboards, consistent metric definitions and reporting that highlights priority merchants and weak spots, working with data science, engineering and analytics partners to improve data quality and uptake.
Applicants should bring at least eight years in consulting, strategy, revenue work, sales or merchant operations, or an adjacent field, plus experience directing multi-country, multi-discipline teams. Hands-on work with incentive plans, sales compensation or variable pay is essential, as is a history of designing training for merchant-facing staff. Interviews reportedly run four to five stages.

- Supervise learning programmes for the people who sell to, manage and support merchants
- Own incentive scheme design, launch and day-to-day operation

- At least eight years in consulting, strategy, revenue or merchant-facing operations, or a close field
- A record of leading multi-discipline, multi-country teams

- Experience designing scalable operating models, governance and performance systems
- A track record building learning programmes for merchant-facing teams
- Analytical fluency in metrics, data scrutiny and turning insight into action
