The organization seeks a Senior Product Designer (UX) to create intuitive and effective financial applications. This position suits an experienced professional capable of bridging user needs with strategic objectives while championing accessible design practices.
Selected candidates will steer the end-to-end design lifecycle, working alongside engineering and product management colleagues. Responsibilities include building scalable user interfaces, running research initiatives, and supporting the development of less experienced team members.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute design strategies aligned with business goals
- Lead the complete design process from research to final user interface execution
- Perform user research, usability evaluations, and experimentation to refine solutions
- Collaborate directly with product managers and software engineers
- Build scalable user interface components and contribute to the design system
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design standards
- Develop micro-interactions and motion elements for better engagement
- Apply data insights to enhance usability and drive business outcomes
- Mentor junior staff members

Requirements
- Minimum of five years of senior product design experience focusing on user experience
- Expertise in visual design, information architecture, interaction design, and user flows
- Experience designing for mobile and web platforms
- Strong understanding of behavioural psychology
- Experience conducting usability testing and user interviews
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Hotjar
- Proficiency in atomic design principles and motion design tools
- Familiarity with agile environments
- Mastery of Figma including auto layout and interactive prototypes
- Experience in fintech or software as a service settings
