Tamara, a fintech platform operating in the GCC region and Saudi Arabia's first fintech unicorn, is hiring a Senior Product Manager for its Loan Management System. This full-time, on-site position in the United Arab Emirates is tailored for an independent, highly driven professional who can manage stakeholder expectations and take full ownership of lending infrastructure.
The person in this role will define the strategic roadmap, lead product discovery, and manage the complete lifecycle of the loan management platform. Responsibilities include guiding the development of the system from the ground up or modifying existing open-source platforms to ensure they meet scalability and regulatory standards. Candidates will work alongside engineering, finance, compliance, credit risk, and operations teams to execute product strategy.
Responsibilities
- Establish the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Loan Management System
- Conduct product discovery to evaluate options such as building, extending, or integrating solutions
- Manage the end-to-end creation of a loan management system from scratch or enhance open-source platforms
- Partner independently with engineering, operations, credit risk, compliance, finance, and business teams
- Prioritize execution to translate strategy into clear product requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Design the platform to maintain scalability, reliability, and regulatory compliance
- Communicate priorities, timelines, and trade-offs to senior leadership
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of total experience in product management
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in fintech, lending, or financial systems
- Background with Loan Management Systems, Core Banking Platforms, or Lending Infrastructure
- Demonstrated capability in building complex financial platforms from scratch or via open-source extension
- Familiarity with the complete loan lifecycle including disbursement, repayments, rescheduling, collections, and settlements
- Experience operating in fast-paced, early-stage settings requiring high levels of ownership
