Natera is hiring a Senior Product Manager, Provider and RWD Health Systems Applications for a remote position based in the USA. Natera functions as a global leader in cell-free DNA testing, focusing on oncology, organ health, and women's health with the goal of making personalized genetic testing standard medical care. In this role, the product manager will lead physician-facing real-world evidence (RWD) applications that combine molecular data, clinical insights, and patient journeys into unified digital experiences. This position collaborates closely with engineering, AI and machine learning units, clinical teams, and legal departments to build tools that assist clinicians with treatment responses, trial matching, and patient insights while adhering to privacy and HIPAA standards. Candidates will manage user stories in Jira, track performance indicators, and work directly with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across clinical product management, user experience, marketing, medical, and engineering teams to shape product strategy and roadmaps
- Integrate genomic tests including Signatera, ctDNA, hereditary risk, and NGS profiling into a unified oncology experience
- Partner with AI and machine learning teams to develop patient and clinic level analytics features such as cohort comparison and clinical trial matching
- Coordinate with legal, privacy, and security teams to ensure proper handling of protected health information and HIPAA compliance
- Manage single and multi-patient views within physician applications to combine molecular results and clinical events
- Work with internal departments to facilitate electronic health record integration and mobile access for medical providers
- Establish analytics frameworks to monitor user engagement and drive ongoing product improvements
- Support the release of platforms that highlight therapies, track treatment responses, and monitor disease progression
- Collaborate with commercial and operational groups on training, enablement, and adoption initiatives
- Partner with the health systems business unit to build de-identified aggregated research platforms
- Engage with physicians and academic collaborators to translate clinical needs into product features
- Track key performance indicators focused on the clinic experience and represent the platform at industry events
Requirements
- At least five years of product management or related experience within healthcare, engineering, genomics, or AI and machine learning
- Deep understanding of oncology principles including staging, biomarkers, lines of therapy, and MRD or ctDNA
- Demonstrated background in building clinician facing software designed for real clinical workflows
- Experience delivering AI or LLM derived clinical data featuring human in the loop review and confidence labeling
- Proficiency in backlog ownership, writing user stories in Jira, and driving agile ceremonies
- Hands on data skills including writing SQL or equivalent queries to investigate issues and measure outcomes
- Proven history of establishing and improving product metrics regarding adoption, quality, and engagement
- Strong communication abilities suited for clinical, technical, and commercial stakeholders
Qualifications
- Day to day utilization of AI tools for prototyping and drafting specifications
- Practical background in electronic health record integration standards like SMART on FHIR, HL7, Epic, or related app ecosystems
- Familiarity with HIPAA, protected health information handling, and regulated clinical software
- Knowledge of FDA clinical decision support or Software as a Medical Device considerations
