Job Description

As a Senior Project Delivery Specialist at Airalo, you would manage large, multi-part programmes that carry company strategy through mobile operators, vendors and service partners in several regions. The role covers planning, coordination, status reporting and the technical connection of new networks to the Airalo platform.

Day to day, the specialist puts governance around each programme, drafts schedules that show suppliers, deliverables, milestones and the critical path, and keeps risk under control with mitigation plans. Suppliers are held to agreed timing, cost and quality. The specialist also allocates people and priorities, and acts as the first stop when something goes wrong. Ensuring that market launches satisfy regulatory requirements, and lining up legal and product input, are part of the remit. The post is remote.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on delivery lead with telecom exposure and a history of rolling out and integrating enterprise software. An understanding of eSIM services and mobile roaming deals is expected, along with comfort using methods that run from classic waterfall to agile, and business-grade English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, high-visibility programmes so that company strategy turns into delivered outcomes.
  • Line up internal work with outside efforts so that deliverables arrive on schedule.
  • Serve as the day-to-day counterpart for mobile operators, suppliers and partners in every region.
  • Keep vendors to agreed dates, budgets and quality standards.
  • Establish clear internal and external communication routes and keep them working.
  • Strengthen governance by applying recognised standards and good practice.
  • Define, track and report on how each programme is performing.
  • Build plans that sequence suppliers, deliverables, milestones and the critical path.
  • Identify risks early, design mitigations and see them through.
  • Decide how resources are shared out and which work comes first.
  • Work alongside engineering and QA to uphold quality assurance.
  • Oversee compliance for programmes entering new markets, coordinating with Legal and Product.
  • Drive the technical connection of new networks into the Airalo platform.
  • Take first-line escalations for any kind of shortfall.

Requirements

  • At least three years of relevant experience in mobile telecoms.
  • At least six years of work on enterprise software rollouts and system integration projects.
  • A good grasp of eSIM technology and its use cases.
  • Familiarity with roaming arrangements such as passive or active roaming, sponsored roaming and international calling.
  • Experience across methods from waterfall to agile.
  • Solid planning skills covering scope, schedule, budget, people, dependencies, the critical path, risk and reporting.
  • A practical, solutions-minded approach.
  • Business-level English for writing, speaking and reading.

Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE or agile project management credentials are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of telecom network elements such as the mobile core and OSS and BSS systems.
  • International work experience is strongly preferred.
