In this position, the professional will drive the adoption of flagship ecommerce products and services among major retailers across North America and globally. The role involves leading consultative, technical discussions with both external partners and internal groups, guiding clients through the entire sales cycle, and partnering with business development, engineering, product, and enterprise solutions teams.

The position requires some travel. Compensation varies depending on the permanent geographic location of the employee, with base pay ranges spanning from $160,000 to $203,500 per year, accompanied by new hire equity grants and annual refresh grants.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the business development group to formulate and execute strategies driving product adoption
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and discussions tailored to diverse audiences from engineers to executives
- Provide consultative services to business partners by understanding the Instacart ecosystem
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to maintain and expand technical knowledge
- Coordinate with enterprise solutions teams to ensure seamless implementation handoffs and scoping
- Gather market trends and customer feedback to inform product development teams
- Build and maintain technical sales materials for scalable sales processes
- Manage multiple concurrent work streams across various customers
Requirements
- Minimum of six years of relevant work experience in a solution engineering, sales engineering, or comparable role
- Demonstrated experience selling technical products and managing integration scoping within unique client environments
- Ability to independently build and manage technical communications and presentations
- Strong communication skills capable of translating complex technical concepts into business value
- Availability to travel as needed for the role
Qualifications
- Proven background in creating technical presentations for stakeholders from implementation engineers to executives
- Experience working closely across product, engineering, business development, and implementation teams
- Capability to design, analyze, and implement APIs and RESTful services within enterprise architectures
