This Senior Engineer II role co-owns the technical roadmap, improves data infrastructure and mentors more junior engineers, with AI-assisted development as an expected part of the work. It is a remote, full-time role for an engineer with at least eight years of experience in large-scale backend and data systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture for reusable systems spanning off-platform integrations, cleanrooms and taxonomy
- Harden integrations with external ad platforms and build measurement ingestion pipelines
- Extend cleanroom governance tooling and optimize pipelines for cost and performance
- Mentor engineers up to L5 and help define reliability targets and on-call practice
Requirements
- At least eight years of software engineering experience on large-scale backend or data systems
- Strong Python plus Ruby or Go, with REST or gRPC services
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, Spark or Databricks, Snowflake and AWS
- Recent hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools
Qualifications
- Experience with identity matching and cleanroom platforms such as Snowflake data clean rooms
- Experience with CI/CD, containers and observability tools such as Datadog
- Working knowledge of GDPR and CCPA in data workflows
