The Senior Engineer II role co-owns the technical roadmap, leads architecture across these pillars and mentors more junior engineers. It is a remote, full-time role for an engineer with at least eight years of experience building large-scale backend and data systems, with strong Python skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture for reusable systems across off-platform workflows, clean rooms and taxonomy automation
- Extend cleanroom orchestration and governance tooling while optimizing pipelines for cost and speed
- Automate taxonomy intake and release workflows to reduce manual effort
- Mentor engineers up to L5 and set code quality and review standards
Requirements
- At least eight years of software engineering experience delivering large-scale backend or data systems
- Strong Python plus Ruby or Go, with REST or gRPC services and third-party API integrations
- Data pipeline experience with dbt, Airflow, Spark or Databricks, and advanced SQL
- Recent, hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools
Qualifications
- Experience with Snowflake and AWS
- Experience with ad-tech or measurement integrations and clean room platforms
- Working knowledge of GDPR and CCPA in data workflows
