Grafana Labs is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer, Growth to join its team on a remote basis, with an ideal location in Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, or Tampa. In this role, you will act as a customer-facing product expert to help drive worldwide expansion by educating users and prospective clients. Grafana Labs is the enterprise behind Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform built on open-source standards that assists organizations with telemetry optimization, incident resolution, and reliability. Serving major clients like Bloomberg, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Salesforce, and Anthropic, the company operates as a completely remote organization spanning over 40 countries. This position suits individuals with extensive technical pre-sales background who enjoy solving complex challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to present the core Grafana vision, strategy, and value proposition to clients
- Manage technical customer engagements to accelerate high-velocity sales opportunities using product expertise and competitive insight
- Conduct technical demonstrations and product presentations for prospective and current customers
- Serve as a direct communication channel from clients back to internal engineering and product management teams
- Facilitate product discussions driven by customer problems and specific operational needs
- Produce internal and external enablement materials such as knowledge base articles, blog posts, video recordings, and documentation updates
Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of technical pre-sales experience, particularly within the metrics, monitoring, or open-source software sectors
- Possess advanced written and verbal communication skills to interact with an international team and global customer base
- Demonstrate strong judgment, leadership, and collaboration abilities suitable for a startup environment
- Maintain a technical mindset with a drive for continuous technical growth
Qualifications
- Experience as a recent graduate of a coding bootcamp
- Previous engineering or post-sales experience
