The organization is seeking a Senior Workplace Technology Engineer to join the team in Delhi. This hands-on position focuses on maintaining, administering, and enhancing the daily hardware and software platforms utilized by internal staff. The individual will apply Configuration as a Code frameworks, manage endpoint compliance across macOS and Windows operating systems, implement security protocols, and handle escalations from the service desk.
This opportunity is well-suited for an experienced IT engineer with a background in cloud-first environments who enjoys automating workflows, managing endpoint fleets, and driving platform upgrades. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with information security and other technical teams to maintain reliable access and operational efficiency as the organization scales.
Responsibilities
- Operate, troubleshoot, and improve core IT platforms through daily configurations and changes
- Manage the complete lifecycle of Mac and Windows device fleets, covering provisioning, compliance, patching, and retirement
- Deploy and maintain web security, device trust, and data loss prevention policies in collaboration with the information security group
- Execute onboarding and offboarding procedures to grant and revoke access while automating manual workflows
- Deploy scripts and built-in automation tools to handle repetitive operational duties
- Resolve complex technical inquiries as an escalation point for the service desk and document recurring fixes
- Take ownership of specific workstreams for major platform upgrades and system deployments
Requirements
- At least four years of professional background in workplace engineering or information technology, preferably within a cloud-first setting
- Practical administrative familiarity with Google Workspace
- Hands-on expertise utilizing Microsoft Intune or Jamf Pro for Windows and Mac environments
- Exposure to web security solutions or Secure Service Edge platforms such as Netskope
- Understanding of Zero Trust principles, including conditional access and device trust
- Background administering Jira Service Management or comparable IT service management platforms
- Practical utilization of Terraform for Configuration as a Code administration
- Proficiency writing scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Qualifications
- Familiarity with single sign-on and provisioning protocols such as SCIM and SAML
- Background working in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries
