Job Description
This full-time Social Media Lead job for enterprise marketing is based in New York and is an individual contributor role with wide scope. It supports the enterprise marketing group of InMobi, which includes InMobi Advertising and the Glance consumer platform. The aim is to make complex adtech and agentic commerce topics engaging to read, and the posting describes the job as mainly writing and editorial.
The work falls into three linked areas. The first is content and social: editorial planning, organic posting on LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta and Substack, support for executive thought leadership, and participation in industry conversations. The second is content operations, covering intake through delivery of content requests, improvements to planning documents, and proposals for AI-enabled workflows. The third is measurement, which means reporting results and testing messages, formats and posting rhythm.
The lead keeps an integrated editorial calendar for the enterprise portfolio and coordinates with product marketing, brand and communications staff, creative and regional marketing, events, and executives. Adapting global campaigns for regional audiences is part of the role. Travel of about 15 to 25 percent is expected for conferences, customer events and team offsites. The group spans time zones, so Eastern Time hours come up often, including for people on the West Coast.
Candidates should have around four years in content marketing, social media, editorial or integrated marketing, and be strong writers with good editorial judgment. The ideal person uses data while trusting their own taste, and can make technical topics readable. Background across B2B software, consumer technology, adtech, martech or AI, or ghostwriting for an executive, is a bonus.
