Job Description

Motive is recruiting a senior marketing manager to run marketing in the United Kingdom. This full-time, on-site role serves as the company's principal marketing presence in that market. The person adapts global strategy into local campaigns that generate quality pipeline, support revenue targets and deepen customer ties, working alongside UK sales leaders and the US marketing function to bring UK customer perspectives into company planning.

Core areas include building and owning the UK marketing plan and its reporting; driving targeted inbound pipeline alongside growth, sales and analytics colleagues; supporting product marketing and localising positioning and messaging; leading UK field marketing, events and roundtables; and managing the UK marketing budget. The manager ranks priorities by expected impact, decides where to scale up, pause or pivot based on results, and streamlines processes so activity is repeatable.

Applicants should have eight to ten or more years in B2B marketing, ideally within SaaS, tech or enterprise software, and a history of running regional or segment go-to-market plans that deliver pipeline and revenue. The role suits a confident writer and storyteller who can operate across disciplines in a start-up style setting with little day-to-day support. The post is UK-based, with three days a week at the London office and trips across the UK and European Union. No salary or benefits are listed.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and own the joined-up UK plan covering each priority segment
  • Rank priorities and balance inbound, product marketing, field, events and sales support work
  • Run targeted inbound campaigns and account plays with Sales, and track results through the funnel
  • Help localise positioning, messages and value propositions for UK buyers
  • Plan and deliver UK field events, trade shows, roundtables and executive programmes
  • Develop UK customer stories and case studies, working together with the US team and customers
  • Report performance and market learning to sales and marketing leaders
  • Oversee the UK marketing budget and reuse global assets where practical

Requirements

  • Eight to ten or more years in B2B marketing, ideally in SaaS, tech or enterprise software
  • Record of owning regional or segment go-to-market plans that generate pipeline and revenue
  • Able to work across several marketing disciplines, or to learn them quickly
  • Sharp writing, storytelling and presentation skills aimed at UK buyers
  • Persuasive influence over senior sales leaders without formal authority
  • Comfortable using AI tools to create and localise content
  • Analytical habits and experience with Salesforce and marketing automation software
  • Based in the UK, three days a week in London, and trips across the UK and European Union

Qualifications

  • Inbound marketing, product marketing, localisation, event delivery or sales support experience, or a proven ability to pick these up quickly
