ServiceNow is hiring a Senior Staff Business Systems Analyst for its Digital Technology Platform Services engineering organization in Hyderabad. This full-time, on-site role focuses on designing and architecting enterprise platforms while working alongside application developers, product owners, and business leaders.
The position is suited for an experienced technology professional who can connect business requirements with technical solutions. Key duties involve leading comprehensive analysis, handling cross-functional projects, guiding the product development lifecycle, and managing communications across engineering, platform operations, and change management groups.
The person in this position will examine current processes to find automation opportunities, document customer journeys, and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Candidates must be prepared to work in a dynamic setting with multiple priorities while maintaining standardized internal standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to find process optimization opportunities
- Direct end-to-end analysis and solution design for cross-functional initiatives
- Evaluate existing systems and procedures to pinpoint automation and improvement areas
- Coordinate with engineering teams to guarantee solutions satisfy requirements and add business value
- Act as the central coordination point across product, engineering, platform operations, capacity, and change management teams
- Provide status updates on releases, risks, and operational impacts to stakeholders
- Map the customer journey and address customer pain points utilizing process optimization, technology, communication, or change management
- Present recommendations to senior leadership to secure agreement, influence long-term digital strategies, and drive change
Requirements
- At least 8 years of IT industry experience
- Experience leveraging or critically evaluating how to integrate AI into work processes, problem-solving, or decision-making
- Proficiency in preparing as-is and to-be process documentation
- Capability to conduct detailed gap analysis
- Strong communication and presentation abilities for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience managing expectations and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Background in building internal standard operating procedures using knowledge bases or other technology
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Exposure to the ServiceNow platform
- ServiceNow ITSM experience
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence
