Twilio seeks a Staff Mobile Engineer (P4) to join the Stytch team remotely within the US or Canada. In this position, you will help scale identity and fraud detection solutions, creating developer-first authentication tools for the broader customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain mobile SDKs for identity and fraud detection platforms
  • Analyze device internals to collect signals and identify malicious actors
  • Partner with leadership to translate client requirements into functional product features
  • Collaborate across internal units to align on architecture and integrate platform capabilities
  • Author design documents, conduct code reviews, and drive critical technical choices

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional mobile engineering experience
  • Hands-on Android development background with fluency in Kotlin or Java

  • Strong grasp of software engineering principles including observability and maintenance
  • Track record of making high-impact technical decisions and leading engineering initiatives
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Availability to handle non-standard hours during on-call weekend and holiday rotations
