Job Description

This position involves planning design strategies that align with business goals, managing the complete product design lifecycle from research to final user interface execution, and running usability tests and experiments. The professional in this role will build scalable components, promote accessibility standards, utilize data analytics for optimization, and mentor junior team members.

Ideal candidates possess extensive background in senior product design, particularly within SaaS or financial technology sectors, alongside advanced proficiency in Figma and interaction design principles. Responsibilities

Formulate and execute design strategies that match user requirements and business targets
Oversee the entire design workflow from initial discovery through prototyping and interface delivery
Perform user research, usability evaluations, and experimentation to validate solutions
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to guarantee accurate implementation
Develop scalable user interface components and contribute to the design system
Incorporate accessibility and inclusive design standards for diverse audiences
Build and refine motion elements and micro-interactions
Apply analytics data to enhance user experiences and business outcomes
Coach and mentor less experienced designers
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and fintech trends

Requirements

Three or more years of experience in a senior product design position
Expertise in visual design, typography, layout grids, and color theory
Proficiency in information architecture, interaction design, and user flows
Experience designing for web and mobile platforms
Familiarity with behavioral psychology concepts
Experience with user interviews, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing
Knowledge of analytics software like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar
Understanding of atomic design methodology and motion design software
Background in SaaS or fintech environments
Expertise in Figma including auto layout and design tokens
