Job Description
Motive is establishing a merchant partner and shop network covering fuel, maintenance and other strategic fleet purchases. This full-time, on-site Staff Product Manager job in the United States owns strategy, roadmap, technical onboarding and day-to-day operations for these partners. Success is measured by growth in network-based transaction share and partner payment volume, along with more spending on Motive Financial Products.
Scope covers widening coverage across newer open-loop fleet models and direct settlement arrangements, enabling bulk fuel integrations that grow network-based buying, pursuing overseas partnerships, and encouraging partners to adopt modern payment technology. The manager pioneers first-of-kind alliances with sector leaders, holds executive relationships, runs partner business reviews, writes requirements, metrics and product documentation, and keeps Product, Engineering, Design and go-to-market teams aligned.
Candidates need eight-plus years leading large partnership or platform programmes, experience managing technical partner relationships, and a record of shipping integration-heavy products that earn revenue. Data-driven judgment, empathy for customers, executive communication and enough technical depth to earn engineers' trust are required. Background in payments, fuel or merchant networks, or fintech would stand out considerably. The compensation range is $180,000 to $230,000 USD.
