Job Description

Airalo presents itself as an eSIM store built for travelers, helping them get affordable mobile data in more than 200 countries and regions. The company reports over 400 people in more than 60 countries and operates remotely. This full-time, permanent Strategic Business Development Manager role focuses on Latin America, with Mexico as the first priority market. The job is remote, but applicants must already live in Mexico and be eligible to work there. Day-to-day communication runs in English, and professional Spanish is required.

The manager owns partner acquisition, channel growth and B2B expansion across Latin America, aiming at high-volume transaction flows through corporate travel buyers, enterprise consumers and reseller networks. The role answers to the Partnerships Director covering North America and LatAm and acts as the commercial lead for regional expansion. The manager works with Growth, Product, Marketing and Operations to launch partner acquisition efforts.

Day to day, the manager maps territories, builds prospect lists split into segments, from mid-market firms up to large companies, and runs targeted outreach campaigns. The manager runs the full sales cycle, from discovery and proposals through negotiation, closing and onboarding. Other tasks include promoting Airalo inside partner ecosystems, building ROI arguments and co-marketing plans, developing relationships with C-suite decision-makers, and using CRM and analytics to forecast pipeline, track competitors and inform pricing and packaging by region.

The posting asks for seven-plus years in enterprise or channel selling, ideally in travel, telecom, large-brand or online marketplace settings, along with a record of winning intricate B2B and B2B2C agreements with senior executives. Familiarity with frameworks such as SPIN, Challenger and value-based selling is expected, and the manager should be able to turn eSIM innovation into business impact through storytelling. Portuguese is a strong plus, and travel across the Americas is required. Applications and correspondence must be in English.

  • Promote Airalo inside partner ecosystems with ROI narratives and co-marketing ideas
  • Build relationships with C-suite leaders and key decision-makers at partners
  • Work with internal teams to get partners activated, integrated into the product and tracked on results

Requirements

  • Seven-plus years in enterprise or channel selling
  • Record of closing intricate B2B and B2B2C agreements with senior executives and multi-stakeholder groups

  • Ability to turn eSIM innovation into business impact through clear storytelling
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish
  • Readiness to go on trips across the region for partner meetings and industry events
  • Current residence in Mexico with eligibility to work there
