Job Description
Canva is hiring a Strategy and Business Operations Lead for Print, based in Sydney. Print converts designs into physical items such as postcards, packaging and posters, and it is among the company's quickest-expanding physical product lines. The lead works at the heart of how Print is run and how it grows.
The top priority is widening Print's regional footprint and range of products (SKUs), beginning with ownership of the SKU launch plan and roadmap. The lead also decides how print items are displayed, described and labelled to improve conversion, sets and reviews pricing across the print range, and chooses the metrics that show whether expansion is working. Another goal is a repeatable launch process that removes manual effort and speeds the move from opportunity to a live market or product.
Daily work involves partnering with Operations, Product, go-to-market, Engineering, Data and Finance teams and handling urgent issues as they arise. Candidates should have seven to eight years in analytical, strategic, product, operations or finance roles, including at least two years at a fast-scaling company. The person should reason from first principles, communicate performance clearly, pick up new domains quickly and turn analysis into delivered results. The role follows a hybrid model that mixes remote working with in-person time in Sydney.

- Own the SKU launch plan and roadmap as the leading priority for geographic and product growth
- Define how print items are presented, described and labelled to improve conversion
- Take charge of print pricing, including ongoing review
- Choose the metrics that matter most for expansion and explain what drives them

- Coordinate with Operations, Product, go-to-market, Engineering, Data and Finance, and handle daily issues
Requirements
- Seven to eight years in analytical, strategic, product, operations or finance work, with two years or more at a fast-growing company
- First-principles reasoning on problems that have no clear structure
- Analytical and metrics-led, able to estimate opportunity size and set KPIs
- Record of translating strategy into real execution, not only recommendations
- Clear communicator who can align teams at different levels
- Quick learner who finds a way to deliver in unfamiliar areas
Benefits
- Equity
- Parental leave policy covering all parents and carers
- Yearly Vibe and Thrive allowance covering wellbeing, social activities and home-office setup
- Flexible leave options
