Chainguard is seeking a remote Strategy & Operations Senior Manager (Security and Technology) to work full-time. The employer provides secure, production-ready open source software builds to help organizations enhance compliance and eliminate risk. In this role, you will dedicate approximately 40 percent of your time to strategy, 40 percent to execution, and 20 percent to organizational infrastructure.
You will collaborate directly with the CISO and leadership team to manage strategic planning, facilitate operational cadence, and clear organizational bottlenecks. The position requires serving as a operational force multiplier, driving cross-functional technology programs, and managing inter-team dependencies. Additionally, you will design internal communication mechanisms, establish decision-making frameworks, and partner with human resources on headcount and budget planning.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the CISO to develop and execute portfolio-wide security and technology strategies
- Run quarterly business reviews, objective and key result cycles, and planning cadences
- Draft executive materials such as board decks and all-hands narratives
- Identify and resolve organizational bottlenecks across cross-functional teams
- Represent the CISO in internal meetings and make decisions within your scope
- Drive execution for product launches, feature rollouts, and certification milestones
- Design and improve internal and external communication flows
- Build operating systems for decision-making, work tracking, and prioritization
- Collaborate on headcount planning and budget management
Requirements
- Corporate strategy and program management experience at a high-growth startup or management consultancy
- Conversant in core cybersecurity and information technology concepts
- Proficiency with Claude, Google Workspace, and data dashboards
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an MBA degree or equivalently challenging coursework
