Job Description

Canonical is hiring a full-time Technical Product Marketing Manager for its cybersecurity line. The role is remote within EMEA, works inside the product marketing team and answers to the head of product marketing.

The manager builds go-to-market plans for the company's security and compliance offerings. The job is practical and cross-disciplinary, requiring close work with product managers, engineers and security specialists to grasp how each offering functions, and then translating those capabilities into clear positioning and copy. The role also cooperates with content, sales and other marketing teams to grow awareness, uptake and revenue.

The best fit is someone with a technical mind who likes to know what makes a product tick, and who can describe its value clearly to technical and non-technical listeners. The posting favours ownership, curiosity and comfort working between product and marketing, plus a love of experimenting and building marketing systems that scale.

Canonical is a company building open source platforms, and Ubuntu is used across enterprise programmes in public cloud, data science, AI and IoT. Customers include leading public cloud and chip providers.
