PointClickCare is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join its Product Operations team in a hybrid capacity. As a privately held health technology enterprise, the firm supports over 30,000 provider organizations through long-term and post-acute care datasets alongside an integrated partner marketplace. In this role, you will act as a strategic enabler, linking product strategy, delivery, and learning across the engineering and platform ecosystem. Your primary objective is to guide complex, multi-team initiatives while helping groups maintain delivery flow, predictability, and alignment with overarching business goals.
This position requires an individual capable of bridging high-level organizational intent with day-to-day technical execution. You will utilize artificial intelligence and analytics to identify bottlenecks, highlight potential risks, and foster data-driven decision-making across teams. Success in this role involves exercising leadership without direct authority, resolving cross-functional dependencies, and cultivating healthy operating cadences. The position base salary ranges from CAD 144,000 to CAD 160,000 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits program that includes retirement plan matching, flexible time off, wellness spending accounts, and caregiver leaves.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering Leads to convert strategic objectives into structured execution plans
- Direct cross-team initiatives spanning product, infrastructure, and platform components while maintaining visibility over dependencies
- Identify and eliminate operational ambiguities by linking business intentions with delivery metrics
- Leverage artificial intelligence analytics to uncover delivery risks, bottlenecks, and velocity recommendations
- Mentor teams on maintaining balanced autonomy and data-driven delivery rhythms
- Facilitate alignment and explicit trade-off decisions between senior product, engineering, and design stakeholders
- Contribute to the evolution of internal tooling, operational frameworks, and portfolio-wide scaling processes
Requirements
- Bring at least five years of experience leading complex software programs in technical program management or equivalent capacities
- Possess a minimum of three years of background driving multi-team initiatives across platform, product, or infrastructure domains
- Demonstrate expertise in translating objectives into execution plans while monitoring dependencies, risks, and health signals
- Maintain proficiency with delivery and program tracking software including Jira, Confluence, or Aha!
- Exhibit technical fluency in modern software architectures, APIs, and integration patterns for engineering design discussions
- Demonstrate systems-level thinking to trace cross-cutting program dependencies
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or possess equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrate familiarity with applied artificial intelligence concepts and ethical engineering practices
- Show a proven history of delivering large-scale SaaS or complex multi-team systems
