Coins.ph is seeking a Technology Lead who can speak Mandarin to direct the creation and scaling of its high-speed exchange platform. This hybrid position involves combining technical execution with strategic direction, building microservices-based Java applications, guiding a development team, and supporting global growth initiatives.
This role suits an experienced technologist with a background in Java development and startup leadership who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong interest in financial technology and digital asset innovations. Responsibilities include managing the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with local laws, integrating KYC and fiat processes, and conducting code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Head the development of the exchange platform to guarantee high performance and reliable operations
- Design, build, and maintain robust Java-based systems and microservices
- Manage the full software development lifecycle from initial requirements to production deployment
- Collaborate across cross-functional groups including designers, product managers, and fellow developers
- Troubleshoot and fix issues spanning staging, development, and production environments
- Mentor junior developers to support their professional growth and technical advancement
- Perform regular code reviews to maintain adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Manage cross-cultural relationships to assist with the global expansion of the company
- Align operations with local rules by partnering with compliance teams on KYC and fiat transactions
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Java Developer with object-oriented programming principles
- Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks for microservices creation
