Operating in a hybrid model, this position is part of the Rider Operations group within the Communications and Policy department. The chosen professional will act as a primary representative of the company when interacting with outside organizations, manage fleet effects on local neighborhoods, and maintain connections with the GMB Trade Union.

Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship with the GMB Trade Union by organizing quarterly Joint Productivity Committee meetings and handling rider casework referrals alongside the Rider Support Centre
- Engage with regional and local authorities, emergency services, and community stakeholders by addressing inbound questions and attending field meetings across the UK and Ireland
- Mitigate regulatory risks tied to municipal policies concerning bicycles and electric bicycles in urban centers
- Promote the Rider Respect Charter and execute campaigns focused on local challenges like loitering and road safety
- Partner with public affairs, public relations, communications, and rider engagement groups to align on macro policy goals and highlight community advantages
Requirements
- Background or familiarity with industrial and trade union relations inside a complex operational setting, technology firm, or delivery aggregator
- Clear listening and verbal communication abilities to connect rider needs with external stakeholder requirements
- Competence in stakeholder engagement to influence senior leadership and address media questions alongside public relations staff
- Skill in collecting data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights
- Organizational habits and independence to plan multi-element meetings, work alone, and travel across the UK and Ireland
