The company is headquartered in the UK and operates across North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. This is a full-time, remote role.

The US Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for all regulatory and compliance matters in the United States and Canada. The job is to build a regulatory strategy for these markets, put compliance programs into practice and manage the company's regulated activities. Partnering with the Global MLRO and Financial Crimes colleagues, the officer oversees AML/CTF and sanctions programs for US and Canadian operations. The role also covers regulatory training for the board and executives, development of bank and financial institution partnerships, and advice on payment scheme rules.

The ideal candidate has managed compliance for US card programs or embedded payment products while working at a fintech or in program management, including work with sponsor banks, Visa and Mastercard rules, and rulebooks including UDAAP, Reg E and BSA/AML. Direct experience running a US regulated financial services business and dealing with regulators is expected. Some overseas travel is involved.

The base salary range is $180,000 to $270,000. The company generally pays between the minimum and the midpoint of the range until performance is assessed in the role. Offers reflect experience, interview results and internal pay parity.
