Job Description
Apollo.io builds software for revenue organizations, letting sales and marketing staff tap a large set of confirmed business contact details and reach out through integrated tools. Started in 2015, the business has investors such as Sequoia Capital and Bain Capital Ventures. This full-time, remote position is for a Solutions Consultant II in presales, combining technical knowledge with strategic advice throughout the customer journey.
The consultant runs discovery to uncover business pain, success measures, and purchase criteria, then demonstrates how the platform improves return on investment, efficiency, and revenue through demos and tailored narratives for technical and executive audiences. The role co-owns complex deals with account executives and account managers, designs and runs proof-of-concept trials, and helps move customers from pre-sale into onboarding and expansion.
On the technical side, the consultant designs integrations with REST APIs, CRMs, marketing automation, and tools such as Zapier, and produces architecture diagrams, data flow maps, and design recommendations. The job also includes passing customer feedback to product and go-to-market planners, coaching peers, and creating playbooks, demo environments, and competitive materials. Applicants should bring roughly four to eight years in technical success, sales engineering, or solution consulting roles, including a year in GTM technology.

- Co-create adoption plans and work with Onboarding and Customer Success to limit post-sale risk
- Coach teammates on discovery, demonstrations, and technical planning, and develop playbooks, templates, and competitor resources
