Canonical seeks an ISV Technical Alliance Manager to join its Software Alliances division remotely within the Americas or EMEA region. In this capacity, the professional will partner with leading software organizations to integrate Ubuntu and other Canonical solutions, including artificial intelligence offerings, into their products. The daily work involves establishing joint product roadmaps, guiding product delivery, and collaborating on go-to-market strategies, marketing content, and lifecycle support. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partner product, engineering, alliance, and marketing departments to harmonize open-source strategies
- Identify partner requirements, analyze operational gaps, and pinpoint business opportunities for Canonical
- Coordinate with internal and partner product teams on promotional messaging, content creation, and product launch plans
- Produce reference architectures, joint blueprints, webinars, presentations, videos, and white papers for partners and customers
- Advocate for Ubuntu adoption within designated alliance accounts and support enablement training for partner development, delivery, support, and commercial units
- Travel internationally up to 25 percent of the time for internal conferences and in-person partnership activities
Requirements
- Up to 7 years of professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or a related field
- Prior background in software development and system architecture
- Customer-facing experience across software engineering, product management, business development, or technology strategy
- Strong communication skills suited for stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to executive leadership
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels

Qualifications
