Grafana Labs is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join its commercial product expert team on a remote basis. As the organization behind a widely utilized observability platform built on open standards, Grafana Labs connects diverse telemetry data for global enterprises. In this role, you will act as a key technical authority, collaborating closely with sales professionals to navigate customer evaluations, demonstrate product capabilities, and close high-speed opportunities.
This position is well-suited for a self-motivated technical professional who enjoys solving complex problems and possesses a strong background in pre-sales environments. Team members operate within a globally distributed, remote-first environment that emphasizes autonomy, transparent communication, and collaborative innovation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales staff to communicate product value and corporate strategy to prospective and existing clients
- Manage technical evaluations and customer engagements to finalize high-velocity sales opportunities
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for users
- Relay customer feedback and market intelligence back to internal engineering and product management groups
- Produce internal and external enablement assets such as knowledge base articles, blog entries, video content, and documentation enhancements
Requirements
- Reside on the East Coast
- Bring at least five years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally focused on Open Source solutions or metrics and monitoring domains
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrate strong judgment, leadership, and collaboration skills suitable for a startup setting
Qualifications
- Recent graduation from a coding bootcamp
- Prior post-sales experience
- Previous engineering background
