Job Description
ClickUp is building a converged AI workspace that brings together tasks, documents, chat, calendar and enterprise search, with context-driven AI across all of them. The company describes itself as AI-native and assesses candidates' AI fluency during hiring. This full-time, remote role focuses on the Asia-Pacific region.
The Strategic Solutions Engineer is responsible for growing revenue that flows through partners in APAC. The role blends pre-sales for enterprises, partner enablement and solution architecture. Its aim is to help upmarket partners, including Solution Partners, global system integrators and enterprise resellers, win, implement and expand ClickUp inside their own customer bases. The engineer works with Partner Managers and Account Executives on this.
Day to day, the engineer designs and runs structured enablement programs covering workflow mapping, storytelling decks, AI agent use, automated AI workflows, process mapping and competitive positioning. The engineer coaches partners on discovery, demonstrations, solution design and pricing, and works toward partner certification. On partner-sourced deals the engineer leads the technical side, from discovery and proof of concept through to handoff after the sale. The role also assists Account Executives with high-stakes direct deals, leads workshops and partner events, and coordinates with Professional Services and other internal teams.
Travel of up to 50 percent is expected. The role is open to candidates in Australia, and Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are the preferred cities. The posting notes that sponsorship is not offered for roles outside engineering and product right now.
